Getting Started! Strategy Session
Your Strategy Session includes…
Initial Meeting We’ll begin by discussing your nutritional needs– what a typical day of eating looks like for you now, and what it will look like as A Weekday Vegan (or if you are not ready to ditch animal products, don’t worry, I’ll still help you eat healthier, working with the foods you like). We’ll map out a plan and set up strategies to make it healthy and do-able! We’ll talk via phone, Skype, or Facetime. If you live within the Los Angeles area, we can also meet in person.
Check-in Session to keep you motivated and to see how you are doing. We’ll do this via phone, Skype, Facetime, or in-home, if you’re within the Los Angeles area.
4 Weeks of Unlimited e-mail Q & A Following your initial Strategy Session, I will be happy to answer any and all questions that you might have about your nutritional needs and your new goals as A Weekday Vegan.

Katie specializes in weight loss, vegan/vegetarian diets, managing and reversing chronic diseases (high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, heart disease), food allergies and intolerances, gastrointestinal conditions, enhancing sports and exercise performance, prenatal and breastfeeding care, and child nutrition.
Personalized 3-Day Menu Are you gluten free? Vegan? Or simply just don’t know what to eat? I will provide you with a 3-Day personalized meal and snack plan that’s healthy and doable. Best of all, it will be tailored just for you– including foods you love, and avoiding those you don’t.
Grocery Shopping Date Have you ever been stumped looking at a nutrition label, wondering if it’s genuinely healthy? Join me for a one hour grocery shopping date at your favorite store and we’ll walk through the aisles choosing the best food for you and your family. By the end, you’ll have a list of healthy menu tips and a grocery list for your next trip to the store. Only available within the Los Angeles area.
Cupboard Clean Out Together we will sort through your cupboard and refrigerator. I will point out deceptively unhealthy items and offer healthy menu alternatives to foods that might be hard to part with. Be forewarned– I love to organize food cupboards! Only available within the Los Angeles area.
Cooking with Katie Does eating vegan or vegetarian sound appealing, but you just don’t know how to prepare plant-based meals? As a dietitian, my professional experience is health and nutrition. As A Weekday Vegan, my passion is cooking delicious plant-based meals and snacks my whole family will enjoy (including my 4-year-old!)
I will arrive with the recipe and ingredients and teach you how to prepare one meal.
I’ll share all of my cooking techniques and tips and in the end, you’ll have a delicious meal that you will know how to prepare on your own.
